The second point presumes that men cannot control themselves, and I think it’s very obvious men can. Being one, I can tell you I have a heavy amount of control over what I do. Secondly, since when does clothing and how you wear it instantly mean “Ohmahgawd I want you to touch me all over! I’m just begging to be boned~!” I find that argument entirely stupid. So if I’m wearing a utility belt and overalls, it means I really want to go around fixing your house? Does it mean that if I wear a trenchcoat, I’m going to want to shoot up your schools?

Just. Seriously guys. I understand you live in a world where you think you can tell what a person is like by the way they dress, but I can guarantee that that view is faulty, to put it at best. A human being is actually a complex creature with layers upon layers of personality. By stereotyping them, I’m sure it makes your life that much simpler, but it’s never the truth. Ever.

Look. The fact that you, strange tumblr, exist makes me angry. You don’t use logic. You’re using ethos, and I hope you are embarrassed. I just found you some really quick studies you could have found if you chose to open your eyes and search with google. It was really easy. You don’t have an excuse.

Rape happens because the other person thinks they can overpower his victim. It’s not a question of provocative clothing. It’s the fact that there are scumbag people out there that have no standing moral code apart from “Might makes right.”
